The JET 1632 Oscillating Drum Sander produces an unbeatable sanding finish with its exclusive variable speed oscillating drum – it moves from left to right, minimizing visual scratch patterns in workpieces and increasing the lifespan of abrasive paper. Additional features such as Sandsmart feed control technology, tool-less parallelism adjustment, and a heavy-duty steel stand make this popular sander one of the most innovative in its class.

Oscillating drums reduce heat build-up on sanding paper, which in turn reduces burning and provides a more consistent smooth finish. The Sandsmart technology on the 1632OSC monitors the load on the drum motor and automatically regulates the speed of the conveyor to maintain the highest feed rate without overloading.

The 1632OSC features JET’s patent pending dust hood, which features an integrated channel that mirrors the shape of the drum, and directs chips and dust to the 4″ collection port. Up to 97% of dust can be captured and redirected to a dust collector.
